Located within a bird's eye view of Sutera Harbour Resort and Kota Kinabalu city, just off the coast of Borneo is the Tunku Abdul Rahman (TAR) Marine Park. This state gazetted reserve comprises of 5 islands, namely Pulau Gaya, Pulau Manukan, Pulau Mamutik, Pulau Sulug and Pulau Sapi.
Rich in natural resources, plant, animal and marine life, TAR Marine Park is a sheltered paradise of peace, tranquillity and an ideal destination to begin your diving experience in Sabah. For the avid diver, the reefs surrounding TAR Marine Park offers excellent crystal clear waters and beautiful corals.
Protected and easily accessible, divers at the park can expect to see blue-spotted sting rays, turtles, scorpion fish, cuttlefish, mantis shrimps, frogfish and even the elusive harlequin ghost pipefish in these waters.
